Soon (I hope) the Spectranet will be available - need to get the up and coming shows out of the way, debug the software, and actually make some more, though!
- Serial connection (with HW flow control)
- Infrared (IrDA)
- Wifi or Ethernet (TCP/IP is supported by hardware, than you can communicate from basic or assembler)
I suspect the Spectranet will work out roughly about 40 EUR, although that depends on what price I get for the PCBs (once I work out where I want to put some screw holes so that people can even make a box for it, I'll be sending off for a bunch of PCBs to be made up). The PCB is the most expensive bit and the price varies quite a bit depending on who/how many are made in one go.

with this you have 3 options:
- Serial connection (with HW flow control)
- Infrared (IrDA)
- Wifi or Ethernet (TCP/IP is supported by hardware, than you can communicate from basic or assembler)

It is just small experiment, but it shows, how simple is anything with Connect One Socket LAN module. You can download webpages only with one command.
And of course, you still have very universal, fast and full featured RS232.
