The Wank is also a popular destination for enthusiasts of paragliding who take off from the peak to fly south into the Garmisch-Partenkirchen valley or to peaks in the Wettersteingebirge.
I'd rather Wank into the peaks myself, although valleys are good too.

I only came back because of the terrible news about Frobush, I honestly didn`t expect to post anymore, and with the way I have felt over the past few days, it has been hard to do anything, let alone post here.
I miss him terribly, as I know most people do and the way he would send messages to Gerald, I have felt physically ill for the past few days, it is just not right what has happened, the world suddenly feels so much smaller without him..........
I have seriously expected him to post and say it was all a big joke, we would all have forgiven him...................
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
