    2.1%...?!?!?

Didn't realise how little alcohol it contained.

How much did they cost? I recall they're pretty cheap.

Best one ever was Lancashire Bitter that was 1.59 for a 4 pack when I was about 15, and I believe it had roughly the same alchohol content as it's price :D

Not quite as nice as the root beers you use to get in McDonalds tho years ago. Root beer seems to be getting harder to find nowadays :-(

Asda sells root beer. Not as good as the A&W stuff, but it does the job.

95p for 4. I saw them and thaught of Joffa and just had to buy them.

At least with this beer you could brag to your mates that you could handle 20 pints in a night, but thats pretty much all it has going for it. Well being honest for 95p for four its not too bad, just a bit plain tasting and weak that all.

You really need to label your liquid-containers better if you're unsure of what you have in your cup! :-o

I found a new mix, well new to me any way, to relax after a long week, so cue Friday evening I shall be drinking Absolut Vodka mixed with Crabbies alco ginger beer. Blows your socks off in either direction, like this... pew... pew... and it tastes so so nice.

Someone bought me 4 tins of tesco own brand lager, think it was about ?1.39, drank all four one after the other. Bit like cold tea with a little bit of fizz in it, refreshing but it won't get you to Narnia.

God, I so miss those McD's root beers. Never forget about 15 years ago going into McD's and asking for one, the spotty tw@t behind the counter looked at me like I was from another planet.

I'll second the Asda root beer (Carter's), it's quite nice and about ?1.20 for six cans. Sainsbury's do the same in a 2l bottle.

I bought 50 cans of the Tesco 'red bull' alternative - Kick. Had a special offer, 25 cans for a fiver, get in there.

Love this chilled in the fridge, had 3 cans already today. Time to slooowww down !

Well right now..strong coffee (on an electric cup warmer) as it's only 7.55am.

My fridge back home though is nicely stocked with Natural lite with 2 bottles of Brandy sitting on top for those 'days of extra stress'.
