I dunno, I like all the 60s and 70s stuff. This album brings back some great memories too... I'm a sucker for nostalgia, me.
Yep fair play his old stuff may be OK, but it's got the stigma of my ma likes him no matter what, and anybody who does a collaboraytay with the likes of Mick Hucknall is musically dead to me.
a la Fugees....musically dead to me, that was one expensive Angel for those guys too I'm sure :D

Yes, fair point there with regards to Mick Hucknall, although Sly & Robbie collaborated with him and I still rate them two. But yeah, Santana's pop stuff is pretty cack, it's just the early stuff that I like (when Santana was actually still a proper band).
Fugees did one good album (Blunted On Reality), the rest is pants (not that there's much more of it).

They're actually very good, Graz. Have you ever thought about sending them to indie filmmakers? They'd make great scores.
fankyou :)
I guess I could post 'em up on one of those royalty-free music sites. Not a bad idea if people could actually make use of them.
I did use some of my music (not these tracks tho) for a Tripods 'fan-meeting' DVD. Only because when I asked for music for it, no one was forthcoming! :D

You could try sites along the lines of this one; they emailed me a while back, when I uploaded my Zombie Flesh Eaters theme cover to YouTube. I haven't submitted anything though, I'm not sure if anything I've done would "work" as a score to a film. To be honest, I haven't looked into the site too much either, so it could all just be a lot of pap, but it's an interesting concept nonetheless.
Maybe I should upload my EP there when it's done, I'm sure they'll appreciate the new version of The Brown Ale Song, I used a stylophone for the bassline
I saw them live last year and again this weekend and they are amazing live. this time I brought the cd's and they are god awful  nothing is in tune and they are easily the worst produced cd's I've every heard and i'm into seriously old school black metal!
I finally got sick of video games, and crap horror movies so I decided to put the digital radio stations on while I was cooking.
I had Electronica/Dance on at first, first station I came to and it was playing a Jamiroquai track, so I was like OK cool.
Then it went a bit gabba techno for my liking so I decided we'll go with Hip-Hop Classics
First tune was Afrika Bambaata/Soul Sonic Force: Looking for the perfect beat.
We're onto a winner.
Next tune out is a De La Soul tune, this station's sticking til' they play Vanilla Ice
Nah this station is whack! Lil' Kim followed by Snoop n' Dre Still Dre a catchy tune but not a classic.....oh hang on we have an old Queen Latifah tune from before she was a lesbian
We'll see what the next tune out is, before I give up and play my own tunes?
No the station was shite, they did play some OK stuff but in the end it was censored, no not for me.
Now some bizarro Industrial bone breaker type stuff, I'll start it off with KMFDM: A drug against War!!!!!
Mels last post was 6660 on page 666, perhaps it is time to listen to some satanic music ! Quickly fumbles for The Sound of Music soundtrack LP............................! Played backwards..................!
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
