Get this talking about rock n' stuff being a bit dodgy!

I'm cleaning the kitchen up for when Mrs. Boozy finally gets home, so i decided to put the digital radio on and flick through what they have on. Classic rock was cheesy hairbands, but Retro Rock the first tune it threw out was More Human than Human by White Zombie.....I was like thinking this is retro?

Oh F**K! me they segwayed it into a Bon Jovi song, where's the feckin' remote gone AAAAGH!!!! :o

Kerrang! has been going downhill for quite some time now, I don't bother reading it or watching the channel anymore. If I need a metal mag, it's Metal Hammer all the way...

I don't even bother flicking through Kerrang in Smiths any more and I've not brought Metal Hammer in years either. The last time I brought Kerrang was when it had an Iron Maiden trubute CD on the cover. I never even bothered to open the mag

The only music magazines I bother with now are terrorizer and Zero Tollerence and even then, I really just browse them and pick out the odd article/review.

I'm not really listening to much at the moment though...

Boy does this album sound like it's going on for 10,000 days  I've never been a Tool fan (I decided to sleep through their Ozzfest set a few years back) and I brought this album purely for the fantastic artwork, but I thought I'd may as well listen to it now that I've brought it!

    The Modern Lovers Live LP

Johnathan Richman played a gig in a tiny pub in New Cross Gate last week. I only found out after the fact, very annoying.

Anyway, I'm listening to the new Arcade Fire album. Very good so far.

Jonathan Richman was doing a gig in Brighton about 25 years or so ago, ticket prices were sky high, stood in line for hours in the scorching sun, but I bought 2. Waited months till the day arrived, paid ?10 in taxi fare to get there. Made to wait for ages at the Brighton Centre, to be let in. Eventually we were turned away, they said that it had been cancelled at the last minuite. Eventually the fact emerged that they were all in their hotel room watching a football match and could not be bothered to do te gig ! No refund for the ticket price, but told that we could exchange the ticket for another gig ticket for a different group, swindlers !

I have never forgiven him for letting us all down, although I still enjoy his music !

Just finished listening to Elvis Costello & the Attractions - Get Happy LP ( yesterdays E-Bay again )

Now Eric Clapton - Backtrackin double LP ( suprisingly NOT from E-Bay )
