This looks like an interesting unofficial sequel to you-know-what. But it's in Czech, so I don't quite get what's going on here. There is a percentage score moving in the top corner which starts at 06%, but what does it signify? Is it a kind of time limit, or does it denote the percentage of the game completed?

Sort of, yes. It's a radiation meter. When it reaches 100% it's game over.

Kommando is a superb game, obviously its great it uses the same engine as the original and has new weapons.

Wonder if Tom-Cat could do an english translation for us of the game ? ;)

Game was released by Slovak publisher Ultrasoft.
Their games "Kliatba Noci" and "Towdie" are among my all time favorite.
This Commando clone is very good, although i prefer the classic version for 128k, with the Rob Hubbard music.
