Makes me want to get down a car boot sale and pick up a cheap old organ.

Is this the one that Yermzyey mentioned a few weeks ago? If it is all we need now is an AY version.

@Scottie: All you need is an organ donor. ;)

Handbag swinging and "after some relief love?" optional.

Thats not just any old Organ that's an Eminent 310u. A legendary organ that appeared on many 70's and 80's records. But because it looks like one of them retired Granny Man style organs, artists were rarely seen in public with it. This makes it the Cinderella of pop.

I've considered building a board with multiple AY chips that connects to midi so I can drive it off my Roland A-90, I've just not got around to it yet (that, and my A-90 has developed a very annoying random reboot fault)

No nothing like a Bontempi, but yes up their with the Moogs, Arps, Fender Rhodes, and Hammonds. Not bad for a 1972 piece of kit. You'll be suprised how many records used its synthetic string sound. Infact Arp liked it so much they licenced the machines ensable effect off of Eminent to produce the Arp Solina Ensamble keyboard which was used in many songs of the 70's and early 80's.

I do wish people would stop making cool bleepy things!
    This one is really neat.

Picked up an old Hammonmd organ off fleabay a few years ago, ?3.20 and they chucked in the stool as well, was used for the charity work I did, then sold off bit by bit.

Winston, the MIDIBox AY might be of interest to you. Mine is in the shed waiting to be finished...

Loved the Spellbound performance. Sounds more like the SID version than the AY version though. Even though I love the Speccy, I have to give it to the 64 for the superior sound.

I may record that, it would make a great ring tone for my phone.
