I don't like raisins, they remind me of winnits!

So I'm dead against it from the get go.

It's some people sitting in an office trying to justify their jobs by coming up with a new variation. I don't think they actually eat them, they just design them. Bring back the peanut NUTTY BAR!

This is where you should quote Stewie in Family Guy...

"That's what kids want with their chocolate... fruit."

Its been sitting around in my web space ever since the first time. Yes it does come in handy whenever someone mentions winnets.

Ya big soft pansies. You want proper chocolate, this is what my wife likes to eat, or the Green and Blacks alternative which is 85% cocoa.

In all these years the Milky Bar does not seem to have changed unlike many others out there. Look at this old pack, it would not look out of place in a news agent today, except for the fact its 5p.

Why is it that Milky Bars taste good, but milky bar buttons taste shite? Surely since they're supposed to be the same stuff they should taste the same, but they don't, they never have?

    hmmmmmmm?

That's a very good point. The same cannot be said for Cadbury's buttons VS their milk chocolate bar.

I know the answer to that....airflow....you get better airflow around a smaller piece of chocolate...a button than a big chunk of it...a bit like wine tasting..how they sloosh it around ...the air 'activates' the flavor..etc....and letting it 'breathe'.

That would maybe explain why cadbury buttons are better than dairy milks, but not why Milky Bar buttons are shit?

    And indirectly along those lines:
I love Symphony over here but I have to open it up and let it "breathe" for about 30mins before I eat it. It tastes better.

I've also learned that the Canadian version of Symphony is disgusting but that might be because they wrap it up in a sealed plastic wrap, while the US version is just al-you-min-ee-uhm and paper.
