Can anyone remember the price of a blank C90 tape back in 83/84? Driving me mad.

If I remember right, they were about ?3.99 1/2p
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

I used to buy C15 tapes as I found them much more reliable (for my own programs, I hasten to add!), and they were ?1.49 from Boots. I seem to think C90's were about ?2.99, but I could be mistaken.

At the market you could get crapola tapes 3 for 50p.

Ah - I remember the TDKs. They always seemed posh to me. 4.99 for 3. Can't believe I forget the cost.

I remember buying a lot of C15s early on then buying more C90s as the years worked their irrevocable damage.

I remember having a couple of C180 tapes knocking around. Real thin, prone to stretching, tangling in the machine, breaking and sound bleed from the other side.

Wow... I never knew C180's existed! I seem to remember C120's, but thought that was the highest capacity.

Yeah, TDK D90's were the main stay, but I can't remember the cost of them.
