I came back to WOS because it became impossible for people to come to #spin to get support for ZXSpin and BASin, and also because I want to get into discussion about SpecOS. Again, I can't use #spin for that, because I've had to lock the channel down - and that's entirely because of Nick's actions.
And you think I should be happy about this situation? You're a mod, and you've demonstrated time and again that you're not impartial. You, collectively, banned my son at Nick's bidding. Let's not forget that he was unbanned when Nick's argument for banning him was found to be false.

I'm totally impartial. I dont have an issue with you at all, we've had the odd bicker but nothing for either of us to get so frustrated to 'hate' each other or that despite your little hissy fit when you left.
'Some' of your sons posts sounded like you were just telling him what to say. I mean i dont know why you wanted yourself banned ages ago (only to then post a 'few' messages via your sons account) and now youre back again ?
What is it with people nowadays ? Why on earth do people have to ask the mods to ban them ? Why not simply not go to the site ? Why do they have to create other accounts ? Why not just use the same one to post. All ridiculous and childish.
The mods were in a very difficult position as both sides were saying he said this/she said this etc. In the end both bans were for the same time length.
In this thread the initial 'attacks' at Nick were poor, it was only going to cause trouble over and over and do harm not good.
There's no way things are going to just go back to the way they were, a lot of people are very pissed off (on both sides of this thing), and the more posts that get edited in some crazy attempt at historical revisionism, the longer the argument will drag on.

No, the mods were in a stunningly simple position. Your job is to simply moderate the content of the forum on a post-by-post or thread-by-thread basis. You made the job impossible by listening to one person's opinion/story of the motives of others, and considering so-called "evidence" from outside of the forum itself, like IRC and Facebook, which should be absolutely no concern of yours at all.

I dont think it will. Apart from this whole sorry episode, previous to this there was the Cornishdavey ban and the Rubberkeys one. Its been pretty peaceful around here.
We havent had 'two sides' like this previous.
You can blame the mods all you want. At the end of the day we're all 30+ something adults acting like kids and bicking over just rubbish.
Its like a frickin Westlife forum with girls arguing over who they find the fittest.
Again you think youre correct, others dont think you are. The mods gave the people a ban the same length (and to be fair yes a longer ban for Aowen was unjustified) but we had to make a decision. We couldnt wait for weeks to gather up all the evidence, interview people etc while we had people complaining left and right about the state of the forum due to a 'small' number of people who basically dont get on.
We have people creating multiple accounts, we have 'secret' chat rooms, we have 'he said/she said', we have people saying 'right i'm going - ban me !' and then coming back. Its like an Eastenders omnibus.
Look you and others dont get on with Nick. Nick doesnt like you either (Sounding like star wars). Just avoid each other. This will never get sorted out in a thread with insults left and right. If i leave them it makes things worse, if i delete them then its 'poor modding' etc
