Got my highest ever score on Dictator tonight!

Ran out of money though, and had to flee the country. My score was 188.

IT was a shame, as I managed to get the monthly outgoings down to ZERO, but I was bankrupt, and so my power dimished.

I think it's possible to get into a situation, where the monthly outgoings is ZERO, and your own body guards are so strong, that being overthrown in a revolution is nearly impossible - and you just need to avoid assination. In which case the game could probably go on for ages.

    I didn't know this game was in the archive. I'm sure I looked for it a while back and couldn't see it. I must be blind.

    Never heard of dictator, but it sounds kind of fun. I'll have to go download that...

    actually, I was playing the standalone MS-DOS version, but it's identical to the Speccy one I think.

    Every time i've tried to repeat this feat, and get my outgoings to zero, I get assisnated, keep getting nearly there, and I get assisnated again. :(
