Emulation scene...

edited September 2010 in Emulators
Hi Folks,

Had a quick look today at Amstrad CPC emulators. Whilst there is some clever technology out there (JavaCPC springs to mind) I have to say that IMHO none quite match the flair and features of the Spectrum emulators.

Also activity in other areas seems a lot lower.

Guess Speccy people have more staying power? ;)

Happy days

Paddy

ZX and NES are the most emulated systems. ZX because it is really simple with lots of software, NES because it was really widespread and popular.

    Hi Shiru,

I will take your word on the "simplicty" of the humble Speccy.

One thing that did surprise me is that lack of PSION PDA emulators. The original PSION Series 3 one is out there but that is not great and is designed for DOS. Thought someone might have written a Series 3mx or 5 one by now.
