I got Head over Heels as my subscriber copy, so I was happy with that

I like GamesTM - the writing is quite good. Their Retro compilations are excellent - much better than Retro Gamer.
  • I got the Disgaea one cos it was the best one in the shop. I'm not gonna bother shopping around for a manic miner one! Btw top 100 list was rubbish. 2 mario games but no Civ or Gollop games?!

The first cover I saw was the Manic Miner one, but by the time I got aorund to buying it, it had gone. I brought one with Mario Kart on the SNES instead. The other choices were Little Big Planet and Wario :(

I got the Paperboy cover....and I thought the Top 100 was very fair, actually! At least it had a fair few Speccy games included....more than usual in these sorts of things!

wonder if somebodyll buy all 100 covers?
cost a bit but would be a collectible collection

Yeah but 2 mario games? It's not that good a series. Allow 1 and give another deserving series a mention. It's like those Nintendo mags with their top 20 Wii games - if you don't like Mario then don't buy a Wii seems to be the message. Just pisses me off that these games are lauded so much and if you don't like them, there must me something wrong with you.

I'd argue Wizball would be classed as being the C64 game in there.

Then you missed out on the original and best version... Wizkid is bonkers, but once you get into it it's a great (if frustrating) game
