Horizon paint game ?

edited September 2010 in Games
Hi

I cant seem to find it here...

http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0009230

Its that classic old game where you run about a maze and have to colour in a square (which i think turns green) and you get chased by a few baddies. I was sure it was on the Horizons tape

Anyone got a link to it ?

There's definitely not anything like that on the Horizons tape.

Are you sure you're not thinking of this?

The pack I got with my rubber keyed Speccy included:

    Make a chip
    Survival
    Chequered Flag
    Scrabble
    Flight Simulator
    VU-3D

It came in a large box, with all the cassette boxes visible through individual holes on the front of the box (kinda imagine the box shaped like a box of chocolates)

Scrabble! That was another one :-) For the life of me, I can't remember the last game in that box. It wasn't Flight Simulator (it took me years to get one of those and even then, it took me ages to convince the guy on the market stall to sell it out of it's pack that it was in). It wasn't VU-3D either. That's another one that I wanted, but could never seem to find.

it's flight "simulation" .. I only realised that myself recently , when I listed one on ebay. I always thought it was simulator.

they black choccy box was with the last of the speccy's to get rid of em? I remember the plus having em also though. I have seen a few of them listed recently on ebay

I've also got a Spectrum + with that game. This tape includes a GDU generator and a Arkanoid clone.

A nice feature of Maze Chase is that you can change the graphics in the GDU generator and play with your own crappy graphics!

Anybody knows who coded Thro' the wall? I had a friend who claimed (with a passion) that it was coded by Sir Clive :D

I've a sneaking suspicion that it might have been Steve Kelly. He joined Psion at about the right time, apparently with two completed games for the ZX81 to his name.

Another possibility would be Charles Davies who was David Potter's first employee and the brains behind Flight Simulation.
