I was discussing this with the missus earlier and generally put my point across that if Joe Public had've wrapped his car round a snappy snaps under the influence of drugs or whatever he'd have got at least 2 years.
At least he won't be bored behind bars, plenty of hunky bodybuilder types for him to erm....socialise with and swap seme.....stories with :lol:
he's quite local to me .. first time he got caught was in cricklewood lane. We wound up my friend who lives their he was visiting him.
but whats 30-40k for a driver? I would do the job.. but said, none of that "funny" business. he's a mug... so what he's a "star" he has to live by the same laws the rest of us do..
thankfully he didn't kill or mame anyone with his stupidity. I know someone that clears up on the motorway after such things, and it annoys him that innocent people suffer some of the time.
anyway he might like it in prison and make new friends. they probably sent him to an open one or well kept him away from the hardcore crims

Yep i was saying the same thing to someone at work, i'm glad hes got jail time even though its a joke how much he got. Hopefully this time he will realise how dangerous it is for him to drive that smashed out of his head, thank god no one got killed.
Yeah, sending him to jail is a good idea... costs the taxpayer money and gives him easier access to drugs. Driving under the influence is bad, but jail isn't the answer. Much better to send him to rehab.
Seriously, this country's attitude to drug use is RIDICULOUS. Spending money chasing ordinary people for smoking a few spliffs is nonsense. Rather than giving them a criminal record, put the resources into stopping drug traffickers who are affecting thousands of lives, causing crime (as the junkies have to fund their habit somehow) and turning inner cities into war zones.

This isnt the first time so i'm glad the judge did send him to jail and this time he 'might' learn his lesson.
