  d&h used to do loads of these types of games, I think they did a cricket one as well, and a really amazing one which was a Champions League simulator, in all but name.

  "crashes" or goes out to basic?
  
  you can use CONT if it goes out to basic ? (the C key) and it should keep variable values.

  The game resets. I want it to go to basic so i can tinker with it's innards!
