You killed Ted, you medieval dickweed!

Could be good, I watched the other 2 films just last week.

For has much as I love both Bill & Ted, I don't really see how the story of two guys, from a heavy metal generation and that are now aproaching 50 in an era of bad rap music can be that funny...

Same here, in the late 80's the films were superb and the sequel was very good. Always thought Waynes World topped it when that came out a few years later.

Keanu has been pretty quiet the last few years, this just reminds of of the last Indy film when suddenly Harrison Ford wanted to resurrect his film career.

    Hope they dont do another

Saying that the last Rocky and Rambo film were surprisingly good (Dont mean oscar winning but they were good old fashioned 80's style OTT films) and a good way to finish off those series of films

    Speaking of remakes...The A Team...worst ever.

Never saw it, the trailer looked 'okay-ish'. But was it aimed at kids rather than 30 somethings who liked the tv series ?

Shame when they do a remake and it bombs though
  • I guess remakes are rarely any good. It was fun to dream until the sensible part of my brain kicked in. At least i've got Back to the Future to look forward to.

Do find remakes interesting, i like horror films so quite enjoyed the remakes of Hills have eyes or Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Not as good as the originals but still very good.

My favourite film is The Shining but the two part (straight to dvd) version they released years later was terrible (but apparently more similar to the book).

I was happy when the last Rambo film was good old 80's OTT action and the last Rocky film was far far better than Rocky V. I did hear rumours Stallone might do another Rambo film but i hope not.

Saw him recently in The Expendables. Hes looking old ! Plus with that plastic surgery hes starting to look like David Gest.

A remake will not be funny as it will be too realistic.

Like all famous metal bands Bill and Ted will be fat, grouchy, hate each other and keep squeezing out album after album for years after anyone in their teens or 20's even remember who they are.

    I can see it now

Bill: Dude our gig sucked bigtime, there was like totally nobody under the age of 40 in the crowd!
Ted: Dude we're in our 50's
Bill: Bogus! Now we're just like AC/DC, Metallica, Megadeth, and all those 80's hair rock bands that keep reappearing and won't just call it a Day.
    Ted: Ow!
    Bill: What's wrong dude!
    Ted: My hernia's slipping!
Bill: Most unrighteous dude! Being old and past it blows!
    Every night is curry night!

Reminds me of Beavis and Butthead which apparently is coming back soon, that was very funny when it first came out but i wonder if it'll appear dated now. South Park to me totally took over and still is superb but i wonder how the comeback of Beavis and Butthead will do.

Ropey one this is I don't think it'll be right, the voices will be off as Mike Judge probably hasn't done them in close to 15 years, There'll be no music videos in the episodes cos' the likes of Katy Perry, and Justin Boober will sue the show for damaging their credibility (ahem ). The animation will not look right it'll look too new or like they attempted to make it look old.

If they are older it will suck yeh yeh suck heh heh suck! Heh Heh Suck AAAAAGH!!!! Bunghole Bunghole Bungholio Buuuuuungholiooooooooo!!!!!! Heh heh Bunghooooole!

    I AM CORNHOLIO!!!

It was aimed at adults....very dull and 'broken' story line, Liam Neeson was completely the wrong choice for Col. Smith.

Strangely enough, I played through Beavis & Butthead: Virtual Stupidity the other week on the PC. If you're into them, it's one of the funniest point-and-clicks you'll ever play.

I've got it but I've never got past the OK the video files work on this version stage, I was messing around with trying to shoot beavis through the gym window with a springboard a year or so ago, but that's about as far as I got.

I will play through it one day soon :D

    Hopefully

I dunno, if it's done right another Bill & Ted could be alright....it probably won't be though....

Still, it's an interesting enough idea for me to share the info on Facebook! Got a few mates who are mental for anything to do with Bill & Ted.... Cheers for the heads up, Rebel!!

Still one of my favourite ever quotes from a movie :-)

I like the bit just after, where Ted explains he survived as he fell out of his armour as it hit the floor....
