Fitting UK plug adaptor onto ZX81 adaptor cable

edited October 2010 in Hardware
Hi all,

I'd like to fit a UK plug adaptor onto a ZX81 adaptor cable, there are 2 wires(blue, brown) and two connectors L,N. Does anyone know how to fit it properly in order to avoid any damage to my ZX81?

thanks,

If there's no earth wire, as in your case, just wire up with no earth wire.

Be warned, the first Google Images match for "UK plug wiring" is WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!!

Ha, I just did the same. And judging from the 'b3ta' in the URL, I'm guessing that whoever put that image up knew exactly what was wrong with it... unfortunate accident for it to end up at the top of the search, or a particularly evil googlebomb? :-o

work of genius I'd say lol, it's clearly designed to teach people not to fool about with mains electricity if they don't know what they'd doing ;)
