"Puppy River Throw" Woman...

I was flicking through Fortean Times news stories when I found this.....

It tells the story of, and shows truly shocking footage of, what appears to be a girl throwing puppies into a river!?!?

I haven't posted a link to the video, just a news site which itself has a link if you wish to view it, but what the hell possesses people to be so bloody cruel?? And unlike "Cat in Bin" lady, this girl knows she's being filmed.....

Apparently the Bosnian police now believe to have identified the culprit, and she's due to receive a fine of $6,400....

    it was in the sun maybe a week ago, saying there were no laws / rules about it

    but she's under age so couldn't be prosecuted..

    I don't have time for cats (I'm allergic to em) but I'd chuck them lot in the river for doing that. I can see how folk get attached to pets, but well it's done for publicity.

    Its been very very depressing looking at some of the papers (granted tabloids) the last few months. Every week or nearly day theres a sickening story like that.

    I saw that story about that bosnian girl doing that and the evil grin on her face. Just so so sad.

    I see it every weekend when i go down the local animal sanctuary with some sick story of how an animals been treated or dumped. At 'least' people dump their dogs outside these places (Dont get me wrong, not good at all but at least they tie it to a post outside and then run off), many people just kill them. I refuse to ever go to greyhound races as so many greyhounds when they're past it either get killed or their ears cut off so people cant identify them (Greyhounds have numbered tattoo on their ear to identify them)

    Or i mean look at that guy (from Preston apparently) who basically left his dog at some park down south and then drove off, the poor dog wondered what happened and tried to follow the car. Animals are so loyal, just a huge shame that so many people treat them badly.

    But yeah stories like this, you just wonder whats the matter with these people. Just sick. Been happening for years though. Yeah the story with the woman and the cat was a bit OTT but still a totally stupid thing to do. Just weird. Whats the matter with people nowadays?

    Don't look online for the vid of the Russian kids throwing a labrador puppy into an alligator pen then.

    It's one of the only truly sick videos I've watched that I really really wish I could unwatch :(
