Have just finished watching (again) Horror Hospital, a cheesy 70's horror film with Robin Askwith, very gory but also very 70's (everyone has long hair and flares). Check it out if you're a fan of that genre but make sure you get the uncut version.

I think I may have that somewhere. i'll have a look! Have you seen Tower of Evil? That's got him in too and again, it's very 70's, but not really all that gory. It's got some good atmosphere though.

Just watched Operation: Endgame, and Kick-Ass.

Both were quite good but were weird they both totally fell into the catergory of being too serious to be funny, but to silly to be serious.

Kick-Ass was really ultra violent, and with scenes were an eleven year old girl in a purple wig calls a house full of druggies cunts before hacking them to pieces in graphic detail kinda threw me off a little.

Some awesome blood in it though, John Woo would be proud of this movie

Watched From Paris with love' yesterday, quite a good action film (John Travolta was unrecognisable). Very violent in parts but i enjoyed it.

Just finished watching american football on Sky. My team were on (Oakland Raiders) and won a nail biter. When your team wins it puts you on such a high, when they lose a close one its a nightmare. But despite the game finishing about 1am and me being totally knackered today i'm happy as hell because of that win

Watched Weekend At Bernie's for the first time ever....

Bits of that film are just wrong :) ...still, it was suitably '80s enough to make me want to hunt down more films I've yet to see...

Going to try Better off Dead starring John Cusack next....

Just about to watch The Human Centipede, should be interesting, considering the DVD case says 100% medically accurate.

I remember a few months back when I saw the clip on the internet I thought it was a one of those hoax movies, but no here I am with the very DooVD in my hands

It'll either be super sick as ****, or total and utter shite, I'm not expecting any inbetweens with this one.

Also saw a clip on the startup for a brit zombie movie with a lot of familiar faces in it, it even appears to have the geezer that played Don Beach in the Bill in it.

@ ZX Beccy you're a fellow zombie movie fanatic, have you seen it? Is it any good? Looks kinda silly, but really gory at the same time?

Not just Bex though has anyone else seen it? Is it worth a squint?

No! Stupid here forgot to actually mention the name of the flick I was on about, it's called Doghouse.

It was not as bad as I thought it would be infact I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life, although I am the person who whilst on a horror forum got told off by some regulars who supposedly know that the **** they're talking about for saying Martyrs was a disappointment because it wasn't sick enough.

I dunno I guess it will take somebody being hacked to pieces in front of me in real life to fianlly say "yep that's pretty sick that is" :D

There are no scary movies....simple as ;)

I feel the same way atm, in general. I saw that Martyrs while back, I thought it was original but not really that disturbing or 'gross', my mate was raving about it afterwards though like it was the darkest thing he'd ever seen. I didn't think it was a bad film though. Also there's a lot of these newer japanese horrors that tend go over the top on gore but it seems too stylised, somehow. trying to rack my brain for a film that actually did scare me, probably something oldskool like 'The Brood'. there's some really instense kill scenes in that, classic cronenburg. also Dario Argentos Deep Red and Tenebrae. they are pretty disturbing imo, but its more about atmosphere than gore. although Tenebrae has got my favourite death scene ever, near the end

hired some dvd out blockbusters tonight called 'the final'. says on it "a group of highschool outcasts are about to turn the tables on their tormentors after suffering years of humiliation, in this shocking and graphic horror", but I bet it's not shocking at all lol

Nah! Films like that set out to be all horrible and dark, but usually end up being unintentionally funny :D

I just looked on amazon.uk and one of the reviewers points out in capital letters that it's the worst film they've ever seen. great...

Thought Human Centipede wasnt bad, watchable, i heard theyre doing a sequel as well.

Been watching a fair bit on TV, watched that Louis Theroux program the other day about Lagos. Always thought Nigeria was rather dodgy to say the least and think the same after seeing that program. Do like Louis Theroux, hope he does a series soon.

Also watched the Inbetweeners, very amusing, last one next week though.

Ive watched this now. absolute crap, can't believe films this bad get made...

also watched the new film by Banksy called 'Exit Through The Gift Shop'. excellent documentary. I'm not really into art or graffitti but this was a really original doc. would recommend it to anyone. you don't see Banksy his face is blacked out and his voice disguised as expected, but with his disguised voice he sounds like David Quantick. bristol accent

Any mention of her older brother Alan? One of my old mates ****ed him up in about 1998 for trying to rob his bike of him.

Plus I actually spent a night, in a carpark behind the estate him and his so called star of a sister lived in babysitting his butaned up ass with a few of my mates while we waited for his dodgy cunt mates to bring us some acid.

    We never got the acid.

I wasn't arsed though, my divvy long haired mates gave the charvas the money first. I didn't lose any cash from the deal, but things were sour on that estate cos' my mate lived there, and basically the scallies robbed them.

Bet she never mentions anything about Alan her lovely older brother, he's a cunt by the way, and soft as shite, apart from when it comes to wriving handbags out of pensioners hands.

I've seen that, it's ancient! Still, anything with Boris Karloff in it is usually worth watching.
