+3 Audio leads

the +3 i have doesn't seem to hear audio through the sound jack. do i need to buy a set of cables like these? i've been using a standard stereo lead and while sound emits from the port it won't hear anything from a cassette player or my PC.

    Yes you do - the outer part of the +3 sound socket is connected to the ear lead, whilst the inner part of the socket is connected to the mic lead - therefore standard audio leads will not work! (sorry if I have those the wrong way around!)
