    Alright lads

Blimey ! Must admit hats off to mothers everywhere, i couldnt have gone through that ! Got to the hospital at 6am Friday morning after her waters broke at 5am. First nurse said she was in proper labour at lunchtime, then when another nurse took over at 6pm she said she wasnt (but then was at 8pm)

Anyway 2.45am Sat morning little Cerys Elizabeth was born, and the weight...

8 lbs 15 oz (bit of a whopper)

Mother and baby doing well, she is sooo relieved its all over, the missus still looks like shes in shock a bit !

So it seems Deadpan66 is the winner as hes was closest ! Deadpan - PM me your address and i'll send you the book early this week.

But what can i say, true life changing event, think my hand has recovered after being crushed ! Shes still at the hospital due to high blood pressure but i reckon she'll be out later tonight so i have to do some more tidying/hoovering now !

Anyway was a great moment, long 24 hour day but well worth it. Very cute kid, did my first nappy the other day ! Looking forward to being off work for 2 weeks on paternity leave (Yeah i know its not a 'holiday' or that but its good not working). Just hope to get some sleep now the next week or so.

    Cheers all

Yep it was Fairfield. Top marks to them, a lot of very good people there and they did a great job. Quite a few trips from home to Fairfield back and forth !
