I doubt this year's campaign to keep X faxtor off the Xmas no1 spot will work this time but it should at least get those talentless freaks worried!

    I heard a while back that theyre changing the X Factor song so it comes out a week before Xmas so it wouldnt ruin the traditional race to the Xmas number 1.

    Because of what happened last year the execs seem to think there'll be a campaign every year so thats why they've changed it.

    its a good song and would be much better than some horrible thing sung by someone who did it proper with howard the duck

    it will become like amerillo.. one song thats nice to hear the odd time, but not LOADS

    besides cowell is resigned to making his money from the shows, not the crud from singers put out after ... which he again profits from , as no doubt his name is on writing credits etc.

    cowell gets a 2-3 hour advert each week for the music ? it should be barred from the charts due to unfair / uneven airplay they have.. what happened to rules about product placement and monopolies :p

    make damn sure cowell has no cut of the profits like he did with hallelujah... people bought the other versions to spite cowell, but joke was on them... he had a cut of all versions

    You're never gonna hurt Cowell's wallet. It's more about sending out a message that he doesn't have a divine right to the Christmas no 1. It's this arrogance that is the most annoying thing. Oh and all the people that believe all the "spontaneous" arguments et all aren't planned. The show's so contrived, it makes me laugh when I hear people getting wound up by something that happens on it!

    IF the money from this is going to charity, I'd back it. Otherwise just doing another "stop the X-Factor" campaign is kind of pointless.
