How about appropriate tunes that have been (relatively) recently released for top quality background music?

    e.g.
    Game: Knight Lore
Tune: Sonata Arctica - Full Moon
(have a look at darklyrics.com and you'll see what I mean...)

Heh heh... I would nominate the following:

    1) "Vampires" by Godsmack for the game Nosferatu.

    2) "Canary in a coalmine" by the Police for Manic Miner

I know its a bit weird but whilst playing Vice city i always find myself thinking "Hey i remember when that first came out!" when listening to the sound track, this then prompts memories of a time spent huddled over my spectrum staring at a small portable t.v. biting my nails hoping i`d got the bloody volume right for the umptenth time

    Got another one!

The perfect soundtrack to Treasure Island, and all the other pirate-related games...

Running Wild - either the eleven-minute epic "Treasure Island", or anything off the "Under Jolly Roger" or "Port Royal" albums...

"Jarrrr! Splice der mainbrace, Herr Kapit?n Pugwash!"
