I've not seen these mentioned here, so here goes...

On The Mojon Twins' forum you can download a few "unofficially released" games.

    Thanks for the post :)

We have some experimental/old stuff sitting in our hard drive so we thought we could release it in our forum 'cause some people was interested. Those are not official releases, just unfinished or really odd stuff we did just for fun or to try something and never finished properly.

Right now we have released two Speccy games:

1.- Petulant Poogslay Powerful Parade is just a platformer but turned upside down.
2.- Robore is a bad clone of Robotron I coded when I was a kid and found a month ago.

We have many stuff we could release in this form. We think it's a good idea not leaving the unfinished/abandoned stuff to rot in our hard drives. And it's a good way to fill in the gap when we are too busy to code new, proper games.

I wasn't really sure if I should post it or not, as you hadn't announced it yourself and they've been out for a few days, but you'd left a message for our Russian chums here and I assumed you wouldn't mind.

Yeah, I was planning to announce it here sooner or later, specially noticing that the Russian folks had noticed it.

The instructions are sadly in Spanish and I'm afraid that an authomatic translator will do no good at all... That's why I was pushed back from announcing them here. I don't have the time to translate everything properly.

    Anyway, thanks :)

    Quick and dirty instructions:

1.- Petulant Poogslay Powerful Parade: Keyboard, Sinclair or Kempston joystick supported. O, P to move and SPACE to jump... downwards. Collect 12 circuit boards.
2.- Robore: O, P, Q and A to move. The bad yellow bots will pursue you relentlessly. Just try to make them hit the green diamond. When all the bots are whipped off the screen, you'll gain access to the next level. Load this game in 48K mode.

The Robotron clone is very nice and playable, except for the random enemy position after death.

    I played them both.

Robore is surprisingly good as for old game written in Basic. I had real fun with it.

Petulant Poogslay Powerful Parade (wow, what a name) -well I guess I would like normal screen orientation.
I even switched the display of my graphic card to get the screen upside down :), so the game would look normal, but unfortunately it appeared that left and right are switched this way.
