hey, don't you be taking all the credit there. :p

Why not ? I also helped free Terry Waite, and those two old people who thought sailing round Somalia was a good idea at this time of year.

    JOKEEEEE

Nah seriously i was waiting for Znoxrman just to talk to all the mods (its the done thing or we'll get accused again of something) but he seems to have disappeared. Waiting for ages in the mod section but thought have to make a decision so talked to the rest of the parties.

Unbanning him has nothing to do with anyone else apart from the mods.

So any bandwagon jumpers that still want to complain or take credit - forget it.

We have been discussing in the mods area what to do and we all decided to lift the ban.

He is unbanned. I was hoping to talk to Znoxrman but he doesnt seem to be around so had to move on without his input.

Going to talk to ewgf via pm/emails as thats the most sensible way to do it.

Sensible? I don't come on here to be sensible! Whatever next?!

Time to take a step back I think....

Just glad that it's done and that the mods have talked it through! Hopefully now he'll still want to come back...and hopefully we can forget about it, move on and get on with starting festive stuff....

If everybody takes heed of what everyone's views are on the subject and tries to accept them or ignore people they disagree with, it should be doable! :)

We've made a peace agreement, we're letting free the hostages krusty40 and rubberkeys and dansolo ;) They're free to go to lemon64, in return lemon64 are giving us a trio of Speccy users.

Talking or Krusty40 he was still around on the C&VG forum (Very very sad to see the state of that place under the once great 80's magazine title).

My joke about writing Krusty40's name on a name badge at that retro show was quite amusing, had a few looks !

Coor I could do with a pasty right now. My stomach is rumbling at the idea of a nice warm pasty covered in sauce. Mmmmm..

Talking of those (Hey is WOS, we have to go off topic !) i went through that phase last weekend, saw someone with a pasty, smelt great so thought i'll get one .Heated it up, bit of tommie sauce and yuck !

Why whenever i have a pasty theres alwayyyyyyys a couple of lumps of gristle, puts me right off (I could never do those tasks in the jungle !)

I long for a ginsters which is gristle-free

One of the first places on my 'bucket list' whenever I go home to England is Greggs and 2 dozen pasties and pies.

I'll be there in February.....any Retro events in February? (off topic of off topic)

Cornish Pasty Land in Bedford closed down, it bravely opened up next to a McDonalds, but gave up, and became a regular Cafe, and then closed down all together.

There's been too much banning/moaning/in-fighting/bad blood on these boards for the last 12 months. I'll be glad when 2010 has gone TBH.

Perhaps 2010 should be banned? :D

The best Cornish Pasty I ever had was...in Benidorm. There was an English pub with a 'beer barrel' looking entrance...mind you that was back in the mid/late 70s before it went all silly.

I was only a nipper..I remember the barman in our hotel in Benidorm kept giving me and my brother rum and coke when we ordered coke (I was about 9 at the time). And drinking Champagne at the hotel 'welcome' party and then going swimming drunk.

    The good old days.

Excellent to hear! Thanks to all the mods for doing the right thing. Here's hoping we'll see some positive changes in attitude all round out of this.

Now, what about that ZnorXman... disappearing off when there's a group hug to be had. Tch.
