    He was funny as hell in Airplane! but for me he was at his best in the Police Squad TV series. That was pure comedy genius. Bye Leslie :(

    MikeFishcake over at the Retrogamer forums has come up with a brilliant idea, that on Leslie Nielsen's birthday next year, everybody should gather and stand still in the style of the credits at the end of Police Squad....

    Imagine if they they did it during the funeral just as they're putiing him in the hole! :lol:

    "Forbidden Planet" will be one of his films I'll remember so well. Talking about his comedy side, Spy Hard and The Naked Gun are my favourite ones.

    One thing that some people don't realise is that he was also a pretty good actor before he found his stride with the daft stuff that he did with Airplane etc. Check out Creepshow to see him playing a bad guy pretty well.

    A sad loss and a genuinly funny man :'(

    Apparently he had finished work on the next Naked Gun installment, which is due out next year or the one thereafter.
