Been watching reports about the Bosnian pyramids on youtube/google. Great pyramid at Giza is 448 feet high. Bosnia has 2 pyramids bigger than this at 720 and 600 feet. The peeks of 3 of the biggest Bosnian pyramids form a perfect equilateral triangle 1.5km apart. And they all align perfectly with north, south, east and west, even more accurately than the Giza pyramids. Also man made tunnel networks going 60ft underground for 10km in all directions. Some primitive old hungarian rune type symbols have been found and a couple of artifacts. These old symbols have also been found in the americas. Also a piece of wood found in the tunnels dated at 31000 and 34000 years old by 2 laboratries, said to have been deposited when the tunnels became flooded in ancient history (glacial flood water maybe). Lots of discoveries being made at the excavation site all the time. Its also an area of the world that never suffered with 2 mile thick glacial ice sheets during the ice ages so its a less disturbed and consistently populated land for 10's of thousands of years.
You can get a free holiday if you want to help with the excavation. You'll only have to pay for your flight. Insurance, accomodation and food etc. are all gratis, paid for by the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation.
Inception wasn't exactly awesome but it was nicely weird, and probably worth watching again just for the eye candy, the effects are quite swanky.
Very confusing, and my wife noticed a very simple mistake they'd made with this film but I can't say what it is as it may unnintentionally be a spoiler.
I watched The A-Team a few hours ago, it's nowhere near as awful as I thought it would be, infact I thought Liam Neeson did alright as Hannibal. The guy who played Murdock was spot on, a total fruitcake.
The weak links were Face and BA, not so bad though BA pretty much acted the part quite well, his "foo" was pretty right, I'm just pissed off he never once said he "pitied the foo" Face was a little too much of a ladies man and little too sort of cocky completely lost the 80's cheesiness with that character, but now I've watched it Bradley Cooper seemed quite well suited to the part I suppose, and it wouldn't seem right if it wasn't him in any sequels they might have planned.
All in all all you buggers that ripped it to shreds were a little harsh I think, it wasn't brilliant but it was at least entertaining if wrong in most places. The thing that got me was there was no sign of Decker anywhere, but they left it open for 330 sequels so maybe he'll rear his ugly head in one of the many sequels they'll no doubt churn out over the next few years.

I watched this for the first time the other night too....and I also thought it was pretty good! Managed to stay quite close to the original, and was a lot better than expected!
Tonight, I watched The Expendables which does feel just like an 80's action film...it drags a bit in places, but the explosive ending almost makes up for it....almost...I'd give it 7 and three quarters out of 10.......
I watched A Serbian Film earlier. It's probably the sickest, most repulsive, most disturbing film I've ever seen. Don't watch it.
Okay...I won't.......
I watched Carnival Of Souls last night...first time I've seen it! Apparently it influenced a lot of later classics, including Night of the Living Dead...
It has a very eerie feeling to it...almost dreamlike....and somehow reminds me a bit of Silent Hill....an excellent film though, and worth checking out! And as it's in the Public Domain, I've stuck a link to it in my blog if you fancy watching it! :D
ive just watched (well flicked through) the last performances of johnny cash, filmed by the audience at a gig at the carter family ranch and officially sanctioned, very sad as they were filmed between junes death and his

it's your fault if i do.. giving no name.. I'll think.. ahh thats the film greencard must have been on about
No no, that is the name of it.
It's basically an hour and a half of a director trying desperately to gain as much infamy as possible in one film. It's easily the most disturbing thing I've ever sat through, and I seriously urge people not to do the same. I can't believe it's been passed for classification... people shouldn't be making money out of this kind of disgusting tripe.

It'll be interesting to hear what you make of it, I know you're often into similar films to me. I read some user reviews over at IMDB after seeing it, some people refer to it as "art", and "a masterpiece". How anyone can call this art is completely beyond me!?

Download link anybody? Martyr's was tame and Irreversible made me laugh, Salo made me twitch a little bit, so is this gonna finally make me want to puke?
I will be honest though I've never had the balls to watch Purge 1 or 2.....sounds a little too specialist for my liking :o

I've just been reading about this as it's come up a time or two in a few things that I've been reading (and again in a documantary about the 80's "Vidoe Nasty's").
I'm in two minds about this film. Part of me wants to see it so that I can see what all the fuss is about, but another part of me doesn't want to watch it because of the things that you say. I read a brief review of it that said "you don't want to see this film. You may think you want to watch it, but trust me. You don't!"
I'm certainly going to avoid the official UK release as it's been cut by just over 4 minutes (what's the point of watching a censored film?), but it looks like finding an uncut DVD is going to be tough as nowhere wants to release it like that (I'm really not into downloading either).
The BBFC banned a film a few years back because they said it was there purely to offend and shock people and had no other artistic merit. I tracked a copy down on E-bay and I just thought was was the most boring film I'd ever seen. Nowhere near as graphic as it was made out to be. It's called "Murder Set Pieces" if you're interested, but I wouldn't waste my time with that one ;-)
On a lighter note, I finally got around to watching Toy Story 3 the other day and i loved it :D All I've watched recently have been gore films (next on my list is Big Tits Zombie ) so it was nice to actually watch a nice film for a change. I almost died laughing when Buzz got switched to Spanish mode and was trying to impress the cowgirl

That's almost the only funny bit in the film, but what happens leading up to that bit is so shockingly rank that you're in no mood to laugh when it happens.

A film with Cameron Diaz being stupid? What were the odds!
Aye but for pushing 40 she still has a crackin' arse on her though ;)
Hopefully it's not a big disappointment like most half-decent looking flicks turn out to be these days :D

Just looking at that page again, most of the reviews are positive reviews. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Spot on, that.
I've heard about Murder Set Pieces. Not seen it though.
