Been wanting to see Nekromanitik 1 and 2 for ages... just not been able to get hold of them.

There's a site somewhere called Horrorflix which hosts both of those, but I can't find it at the mo (the original site went down, and the new one is tricky to find), and I don't have my links here with me. Mel should be able to point you in the right direction though.

Far from being easily offended, but I just couldn't stand the animal abuse on Nekromantik. There was some footage (was it a rabbit? can't remember) that looked disturbingly real.. it was nothing more than a blatant attempt at cheap shock value and controversy, but it actually managed to piss me off.

Personally, Freaks and Sal? are two of my all time favourites. Eraserhead is pretty sick too, in its own, twisted kind of way.

the Cannibal Holocausts and Feroxes are possibly some of the worst ones.

I'm surprised noone's said Antichrist yet. That was a bit of a difficult watch.

I'm surprised I haven't heard of that one. -edit on- Is that based on the same Unit 731 as Men Behind the Sun? -edit off-
OH... and Visitor Q.... that films just messed up...
Is that by Takashi Miike? I know the name and it's on my to get list, but I didn't think it'd be a sick film.
And the Guinea Pig films... they're sick...

Slaughtered Vomit Dolls... Men Behind The Sun... Salo...
I've managed to avoid the Guinea Pig things, there just seems to be no point in them.

I didn't think Men Behind the Sun was too bad to be honest. I haven't seen the other 3 in the series, but the first one wasn't that bad even with a real autopsy in it.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Come to think of it haven't checked that site out, for ages, must've been thousands of movies added since I went on there?

Yeah but, to be fair, they're not really films as such. On the subject of real stuff though, I saw a video once round a mate's house, I've no idea how/where he got it, but it is *the* most shocking real footage I've seen. Lots of random clips of people self-mutilating, from chopping off fingers to lopping off genitals etc. I watched a documentary on snuff movies once, and the crew concluded that they were convinced that real snuff movies don't exist. I probably would've agreed with them had I not seen this video. It was far too amateurish, and yet the gore far too realistic for it to be fake. Sick.

ive heard a lot about a serbian film.. i've heard its had like 5 minutes cut out of it for the UK version.

Yeah, it's about 5 minutes. It's the most censored film in 10 years.

or the bit in man behind the sun, were they put that fella in the decompression chamber and his small intestines come flying out of his arse. :o

I've got that on DVD. I just skipped to that bit as I'd heard it was rather nasty, but the kind of pop out like one of those trumpet things you get at partys

*Useless trivia note* The film makes actually used a real dead body for this scene. They managed to get one from somewhere (don't ask!). If you look closely, you'll notice the mans skin colour changes quite a bit between him getting taken into the chamber and the cut to his inside apearing on the outside!

I want to see Grotesque. I had a copy pre-ordered, but it got banned. They are pretty easy to find on E-bay (I'm not into downloading films), but I don't really fancy trying to get a copy through customs. i know it's a small risk, but I don't really fancy taking any chances ;-)

ive seen the uncut cannibal holocaust with its graphic animal deaths, disgusting indeed.

still have to see salo, another movie i often seen mentioned is "new york ripper" apparently is gory.

Caligula with mc mcdowell,i think the savagery and weirdness works well in that movie.

Cannibal Holocaust isn't really that bad when you break it down. Cannibal Ferox pretty much carbon copies it. They ony tough things to watch are the animal stuff. That was pointless.

I want to see those too. I did manage to find a DVD copy on E-bay once, but it sold for silly money (about ?50). I can't see these getting a DVD release over here though from what I've heard of them.

I've got Antichrist, but I've not got around to watching it yet. It's suppose to be slow moving until close to the end, then it turns really nasty. I'll get around to watching it one day...

The Takashi Miike film. Could that be Ichi The Killer? That's a brilliant film, but sick? Not really. Much of it is tongue in cheek stuff. It does have a few nasty bits, but nothing OTT. It's well worth watching. Avoid the BBFC version though as that's missing a few bits and pieces.

I've got the Guinea Pig films in a box set. The only one I found hard to watch was the first one. That's a very hard film to watch. the others are just boring really. Flowers of Flesh and Blood get old rather fast and the other 2 I've seen are pretty much the same. the effects havn't aged very well either.

Antichrist. That's reminded me about The Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson. I found that really uncomfortable to watch, not for any religious context, just that it seemed to be a two-hour torture movie. The scourge bit is particularly horrid.

    Martyrs didn't shock me.

Irreversible and the Human Centipede made me laugh.

Mum and Dad was ****ing stupid.

Cannibal Holocaust was tame after all the years of wanting to see it.

    Driller Killer was unintentionally funny.

Cannibal Ferox was laughable, and no sicker than any pile of crap B-Movie from the late 70's early 80's, and what was the deal with all those pirahna fish what a load of crap.

I thought Henry was funny too, I know it wasn't meant to be but that scene with the TV over the head made me hoot

    .....The list goes on

Infact I've never really seen a so called sick movie that's really made me want to puke, there is only 1 I'm scared to watch and that's Purge. I think I could stomach it, but I simply just don't want to see a Japanese woman chained to a piano crapping maggoty shit into a bucket under a hole that's been cut into her seat.

That's not Horror it's just perversion, and not the fun type!!! :o

    The Girlfriend Experience.

There is a scene where the 'prostitute stalker' runs over to her just after a customer has dropped her off, pushes her to the floor and proceeds to..erm...orally stimulate her.

Pretty nasty thing to do to an 'on the job' prozzy I thought.

It's very messed up, the daughter is having sex with her dad, the son is about 17 and still drinking his mothers breast milk the dad is shagging his secretary who he kills and still has sex with......and visitor Q hits the dad in the face with a brick at every given opportunity.

It's sick, but more weird than anything else, but definitely one of the more extreme Asia Xtreme movies.

The Tortured. That's just an hour of one guy getting tortured. It's by the people behind the last 3 or 4 Saw films, so you pretty much know what to expect. It's not massivly sick though.

Nah, I was meaning Visitor Q that Beccy mentioned. I've seen Ichi The Killer and the anime prequel (Ichi 0?) and didn't think they were bad. Certainly no worse than things like Saw and Hostel, but Ichi had a bit more style and comedy moments in it.

There's also a film prequel to Ichi (staring the same guy playing Ichi), but it's nowhere near as good as the first film. It's worth a watch at least once though. Ichi 1 I think it's called ;-)

I'd say Salo was one of the worst i seen. It was shown on FilmFour some years ago and i watched it. Scenes of people being forced to eat human shit, rape and people being pissed on. It was just a horrible, horrible film.
Another was Caligula, which was just plain wierd. Theres 2 versions. One is a 90 minutes normal version and there is another with hardcore porn scenes added in.
There was another one called 'Spanking the monkey' about a guy who has sex with his mother and 'The war zone' with Ray Winstone in which he has (anal) sex with his daughter, very sick and disturbing film.
    The trouble with tribbles is.......

Yes, Philosophy of a knife is about Unit 731. Its not as good as men behind the sun.

Don't know if Visitor Q was by Takashi Miike.... has a bloke have his way with a corpse... then rigor mortis sets in and it gets stuck on his.... and he can't get it off... odd film

That just reminded me of a distribution company who had one of their films censored. So they put the missing scenes on their website and pointed to it on the DVD cover. The BBFC wasn't too pleased about it, but there's nothing they could do about it. it also proves what a waste of time censorship is.

I KNOW!!! I didn't know where to start... but then went for Nekromantik... so I'm off to watch that in a mo... and the 4 hour behind the scenes of 'Day of the Dead' looks good too!!! :D
    6 euros well spent :)

I joined. It looks like there's quite a bit on here to look at. I noticed that it has links for Necromantik downloads, but those didn't seem to work (part 2 didn't at least). Looks like I'll be keeping an eye on E-bay for those. A quick look shows that when they do turn up, they generally sell for ?30-?50 each. I paid about that for my DVD copy'c of Cannibal Ferox and The Beyond many years ago.
