earthquake t'up north

earlier tonight at 9:05pm

obv. being just outside London.. and classing that as t'up north.. no shaking here

but someone rang the radio from york.. and it was felt in Rippen ?

    I've felt two earthquakes here in 10 years or so, last one was a humdinger 5point something on the scale, really felt it

    apparently it was north yorkshire..............im in north yorkshire and dint feel a thing, maybe its cos im on the northern end near teeside........or cos i was watching the darts Oo

    then again apparently it was near leeds........which ISNT north yorkshire, its west

    I remember feeling one while in bed at around 2am last year. Its odd that I go for most of my life without experiencing an earthquake, then we get 3 in this country within a short period of time.

    And remember those 1000 birds that dropped dead in america?

    Let's not forget the 7.1 earthquake in Chile ... yesterday (Sunday).

    Nope, I didn't feel owt either! From what i understand, it was near York.

    We did have one a few years ago and I felt that one. Nothing really happend though. The house shook for a second and my Garfield fell off my wardrobe :lol:
