Trouble with pontuation
today I was browsing google for some pictures (nothing dirty, I needed a picture of january jones for a work on madmen), and I reached a site and all of a sudden there was a virus warning from my anti-virus...
I don't know it it's related, but now every time I want to use ponctuation while writting, it tipes the sign twice (like this: ~~ ^^ `` ??), instead of "waiting" to be on top of the letter (sorry for the first grade xplenation, but I really can't think of a better way to explain it in english...
does any one knows if I've just triggeres some funcion on my keypad that I didn't use before, or was it because of the virus? and if it was, can anyone please help me and tell me how the hell do I solve this? (I was supposed to be finishing a dam script and it's proving nearly impossible with out ponctuation...)

might be a browser script.. is it doing it with EVERYTHING or just your browser?
have you tried booting the pc in safe mode. (f8 ) and seeing what it does?
scanning for malware with spy bot etc in safe mode might be a good idea.. and also immunizing your pc using that
you run a firewall also?
it shouldn't have done anything to your machine though
on the bad side I found out my pc is filled with virus like SVCHOST.EXE
but I'll have to deal with that tomorrow...(any tips on that?)
SVCHOST.EXE isn't a virus. Tried an online virus checker?

I read something yesterday (can't find the link unfortunately) about a new security vulnerability in that images can be embedded with a virus or script. I'll try and dig the link out.
