Pls suggest me a website where I can win money

edited January 2011 in Chit chat
Does anybody have an experience on the internet where it is possible to win some money ? I mean something like board or casino games like roulette, blackjack etc. I've played a roulette on a slovak website, I won 18euros, then lost it. I was obscuring whether it is possible to predict if will pass black or red, my thought was that it is just a computer that generates just 1 or 0, so I was guessing just colour, I was writting the sequence of passed black/red numbers on the paper and I found out that sometimes there appears a periodicity of passed colour, then I was thinking that it is possible to find a periodicity and then bet safely, but after a few successful bets, the periodicity disappeared. Then as I was writting the sequence on paper, I found out that there is not any logic how the numbers fall and the periodicity appears out of pure chaos that has not any logic. So I thought that I can beat the unreliable random number generator in Windows, but I failed.
Does somebody know something on internet that can be cheated and thus won some money ?

they make it so you can't beat them.. like ebay / paypal they are the winners when you sell stuff.. they are making money for very little effort in reality.

commonly known as "you will never beat a bookie" .if there was a way to scam it others would be also.

they all will offer you free money to draw you in , or you will get little wins.. but it never amounts to the amount you actually really are paying them.

    my advice.. save your money

The only way is to look for the best of the best offers, where you get money to sign up. Bet that money carefully, remove your winnings and don't gamble your own money. From time to time, you can get offers where you get a free wager with no financial committment to sign up,.

I'm with fog... these things are there to make money, not give it away.

I agree with Fog and GreenCard. Gambling is a mugs game. You will never win anything worth speaking of. Save your money and buy something nice instead.

You can beat the bookies, sort of, by using matched betting.

Basically, what you do is sign up for all their free bet offers but instead of gambling them away to oblivion, you cover your bets on another site, so it's a definite win.

It's only good for about ?3-400 before you start to run out of offers though, so don't expect to make a living from it.

player versus player games like poker are prolly the best but you have to be good.

i think roulette has he worst odds of any gambling game. people like it because it is easy to grasp and it has a spinning wheel

i think the only way to cheat the internet into giving your money is by phising. :-P

Or by ripping off your college mates' ideas and creating a hugely successful global social networking site ;-)

For about a million percent less money, create a Quidco account and use that for your usual shopping online. In the last year I've made ?300+ cashback on online purchases.

IF your willing to put the time and effort in you can make serious money on Betfair (or any betting exchange) but you really do have to work at it and understand how odds work.

Edit - I have won a fair amount playing poker online but that's just an occasional hobby, I couldn't make it pay as a job, I would get bored to easily and lose concentration.

Ha ha come on ! If there was some website where you could cheat it would be known all over the world due to the internet and the website would go bankrupt instantly as everyones cheating.

Just dont go crazy, seen a few people bet tons of these online betting places and lose a lot of money.

You don't understand the betting exchanges then do you?.

None of there money is up for grabs because you are betting against other individuals not the website and they take a small percentage from each deal so no matter how much you win they still take there profits.

Your taking money from other punters who don't understand odds and the market so the site is always financially safe. It's not cheating its just having a better knowledge of the market then the next person. Remember that 50% of your bets are laid delibratly to lose to ensure your position is covered and guarantee an overall profit on the deal.

Yeah good point. Just thought bohusk was after some website where theres a known way to always win money (which surely there isnt ?) like some sort of 'bug' etc.

Might be UK only but that PrizeFinder site 'can' be alright. Worth setting up a hotmail account (As you'll get tons of spam email and have to sign up for sites) but i know a few people who have won prizes from that.

In fact, I could expect also kind of response : "If there would exist a website where I can safely win money, I wouldn't wear it out on the internet and make money for myself".

Anyway, I was playing roulette also on bwin (for free) and there it is made literally to pull money from you, because there isn't the choice to put the same bet on black and red at the same time(so you are playing it for free, just observing how it falls), so you have to guess the numbers from beginning and that's no chance. I don't like bwin site, I find it that it just pulls money from you pretty markantly.

You have no chance with games that are pure chance and the outcome is pre-determined (like the camalot national lottery -snort!),lol but in games were you require a little knowledge and skill like Poker that may be a little different,i am not a big gambler myself some micro stakes poker at Cake and Full tilt a couple of times a month and i have been playing the NY Lottery for a year and have won once (3 numbers =?1K)

Or you could become an investment banker and gamble with other peoples' money. Doesn't matter whether you fess up either, you can still grab some nice boni.

if you put it on black and red you risk losing it on zero (and double zero on some tables)

Yes, but zero is very rare. It's still much less risk than guess black/red from beginning. On that slovak site on roulette, once I had big luck, I played for free(fictive money) and won 4000euro for about 20minutes. My goal was nothing else, just bet on red. The sequence was as follows:

    X - red
    O - black

    X X X O X X X O X X X X O X X X O X X X X O X X X X O..........

I caught this sequence, when I noticed it, I knew that when fallsl black, there will be at least three reds, so I put 200-300euros on red and had safely double. But this sequence never repeated when I played for real money.

Recently poker became very popular in Internet.

Exactly speaking Texas holdem variant, not 5 cards poker known from strip poker Spectrum games.

But it is not easy money. You need to be good.

When you are a beginner, everybody more experienced will give you a beating for sure. And if you want to play for bigger money, there will be a lot of people willing to win it from you :)

The only way to play with beginners like you is to play for a very low stakes like 5 eurocents. This way you can play for three hours and win or loose only about 2 euros. More experienced players don't care about such sums, so you'll play with equal players. Maybe you'll improve your skills, maybe not.

But generally there are much more losers than winners in gambling, so rather think of something else.

I can only cope with gambling when it's small bets and you get some sort of enjoyment from it, I was actually thinking of doing the footy pools again for a bit.

The problem for me with something like the lottery, or casino games, is that I don't get that much enjoyment from watching a glorified tombola full of balls. You can a bit of fun with sports and cheer on a team you don't even support.

Years ago I went to Las Vegas on holiday and was surprised that all the slot machines looked the same, I thought they'd all be different and have themes like Scooby Doo, or Eastenders, like you get with fruit machines in pubs in the UK.

If you want some pointers on making money without working for a living, watch this week's episodes of Antiques Road Trip with Kate Bliss and James Lewis on BBC iPlayer. They start the week with ?200 to buy stuff at antique shops and then sell them at auction at the end of the day; by Wednesday James had turned his ?200 into over ?1,000. Although I expect having an eye for a bargain is something which takes years of experience to acquire.

Exactly, i dont bet tons but during some big games when i'm watching them with friends its great to have a few bets on final score, or first goal scorer and when the first goal will be. Can also have stuff like number of throw ins, time till the first throw in (So always a bit 'odd' when a player from kickoff boots it and it goes straight off) and number of yellow cards. Makes the game much more fun

    :-)

Reminds me the other day on The One Show where the guest was quoting investment bankers who are now saying that they "have to stop apologising for causing the financial meltdown of the planet". To which he added "has anyone actually heard an apology from them yet?" :-)

I remember an episode of Lovejoy years ago where he did that. Started with a ?10 teapot and ended up selling a house or summat.
