Sabre Wulf (GBA)

downloaded it recently... not a very fine game is it? it seemed way to slow and with to many dialogues, just to run away from a wolf... does it get better after a while?

    I'd disagree, there are some interesting ideas in there - a bit like The Lost Vikings in places. Plus there are some nostalgic nods to the old games in there.

    I thought it was crap, I really tried to like it honest I did, but no it's just horrible.

    I quite liked it and I got quite far in it too. The first half of each level is a bit of a puzzle to solve to get to Sabre Wulf, and once you are there the level turns into a speed run through a platform game type level back to where you started. It's a simple concept that gradually gets more complicated and challenging as the game progresses.

    It's a rip-off of Wheelie basically, but with tiny uninteresting levels, power-ups that do nothing but patch obvious gaps in the level layout, and lots of tedious hub-traipsing.
