    Sharopolis...as you're the highest bidder..,

I dare you to change your EBAY I.D. to "I'M_A_GREAT_BIG_FAIRY_AND_I_LIKE_TO_KISS_PEOPLE_ON_THE_BOTTOM"

    :)

Mind you - that's dedication to EBAY and TATTOOING !

strewth i thought it would have done better than ?21 , is the bidder going through with it THX ?
  • edited October 2004
did not sell highest bid was ?21, reserve not met.

but, I have had an extra 400 hits on my about me page, an e-mail from a journalist who wanted to interview me about my experincing selling on eBay, 2 extra phone calls from people asking me to sell things for them as a trading assistant - who saw my ad through the auction, and my turnover on eBay is now already over $2,000 a month. People have been linking my auction all over the place, and I think the ?20 I paid in fees was worth it, just for the publicity my ebay shop got.

I still think that it was a good idea, becuase of the type and style of tattoo I was going for. Unless you are heavily tattooed, like I am, it would be hard for some of you to see it from my point of view.

It was a disappointing result auciton wise, publicity wise, it done me very well. The biggest flaw, being the approved bidders list, I think it deterred people. However, if I hadn't done that, I am fairly sure it would have been wrecked by people on purpose - and that could have got messy, if I had got stung with high fvf fees, and had to chase eBay up to get them returned. I was slightly suprised that no more bids came in at the last 5 minutes, but that's life.

As for the tattoo in question, I'll probably still get it done anyway, a variation of what I had in mind. A barcode on the inside of my left arm, with a number, and not quite sure what the writing across the top would be.

not one of my best auctions, but not a total disaster considering the fringe benefits it brought.

Maybe nexttime THX (if there is one!)
  • edited October 2004
Why not have the barcode put on the back of your neck?

Amy's thinking of having a tattoo put on her t***!

And you lose a turn... I'll give a clue - it's another work for a popular item on a female body, sizes vary. With Amy, these particular items are big...
  • edited October 2004
Big toes on a women never really do it for me..
    My test signature

If my girlfriend got a tattoo done, I'd be devastated. They're a complete turn off for me. Fortunately, she doesn't like them either :).
  • edited October 2004
    Wrong again...

Amy's feet are only a size 7 compared to my size 11 feet.

If no-one can guess, it's her breasts she's thinking of getting tattooed..
  • edited October 2004
Sorry I don't believe you - I will need photographic confirmation!
  • edited October 2004
What don't u believe? The foot size or teh tattoo? If the latter, she's not got it yet!

Feet - it all has to do with size - I'm 6'3" and she is 5'5"
  • edited October 2004
I want to see the feet... I demand it... them...

    Feet.. Feet... FEET FEET !!!

  • edited October 2004
I asked her but she refused!
