Habbo??

When in the states I often saw gift cards in the shops for Habbo.

I can see its an online game/environment that is all drawn in really cool 16 bit/8bit style which looks very much like that pixel art someone posted a while back.

Anyone been on it? Anyone know what its like?

    I used to spend allot of time in Habbo back when it first showed up (2001/2002?)

    it was a fun place to chat, sort of an international mIRC with cool 8 bit figures... like pretty much everything on the net, it soon became a place for cyber sex and kids that aren't even teens to insult other people...

    it was a great concept, but I by 2004 and with 24, I felt I was to old and pervert to be there...(most people I would find would be around 12 or 13...).

    also I guess second life didn't help (never really tried it, but most of the people I talked to on habbo moved to there)

    actually what I was going for was a "sort of a easy to use mIRC"! :D

    The only commands you need to know on IRC is /quit and /kick (mwahah)
