Hm not sure about Alundra but I certainly would have been a bit gutted missing out on the first kain game, its aces, ?20 on ebay or not :)

My copy skips so bad I can barely play it :(

Even turning the PS1 on it's side only briefly relieves the skipping, mind you the disc looks like someone's been chewing it :D

    they'd gone

only non-sport/racing titles were Global Domination and Chase the Express. As they were only 49p each I got them anyway but they are probably rubbish.

thats why you have to buy them there and then.........IF theyre none sports game and in half decent condition, and under 2 pound.......i buy ANY that i aint got

sports games i dont always buy, if theyre like 50p AND in great condition then i may

Let's just say my mate lives up to the stereotype of typical Geordie, he's big, he's dopey and he likes to break things...and sometimes people. I've seen him smash some things over the years he could get a fortune for now, I've seen him sell collectible stuff for pennies, I've seen him take a bite out of an N-Gage (which is kind of understandable, but not while the charger's still plugged into it ) and I've seen him headbutt a coconut open.

    Mongo like candy!

Love the guy to bits, but he's a train wreck of epic proportions.

silly thing is I normally do but for some reason that day I didn't...must have been in a hurry or something.

i took the advice so when I saw these at lunchtime for 50p each and all in lovely condition, bought the lot:-

    Bust a Move 2
    Bust a Move 4
    Rayman
    Rayman 2
    Yoyos Puzzle Park
    Spyro the Dragon

I already have Spyro so will sell that one to more than pay for the rest

I tried looking Kula World up to see how much it was here? Cos' if it's pennies and your PS1 is chipped or carded, and you have a tru SCART cable for it. I could buy it for a few dollars and send it to you.

But I couldn't find a bloody thing, that's because it's called Roll Away here in the USA, and it's called Kula Quest in Japan.

If you want me to keep an eye out for a copy of Roll Away I'll look for it when I go to the good games store that still caters for the retro enthusiast (But since the Gamestop opened up about 5 mins away from where I live I haven't been there for ages, cos' missus Boozy doesn't want to drive all that way :().

Mel mate, I noticed you have Tombi listed in your first list. That games worth a fortune! I was seeing a girl a few years ago who told me that her Dad sold her copy on eBay many years ago and she was desperate to get another copy, but it was ?60+ at least every time it came up. I managed to track down a promo copy of it on eBay that I won for about ?55. I gave it to her and she dumped me two weeks later :(

I still feel like asking for my game back

There's another one with a different name it's called Tomba! in the US? why such a minor change is beyond me?

I actually have kula world on copy but cant play the copy till i get another original ps or get one chipped

I'll hopefully have some pics up soon...my mum's old PC, which is the only one with an SD card reader, is playing up though and keeps switching itself off, so I may have to resort to a list! Will try again in an hour or two....

Does any one recall an old PS1 game (i think it came up at the dawn of ps1) where you were this guy in sort of a post apocaliptic world, and you would disable bombs, or set bombs to destroy tanks, etc?

I remember playing a demo of it and loving it, but never managed to buy it...

Carrying on with the advice ;) got Koudelka and Reloaded for 99p each today  both in lovely condition. They also had a few TR's and Judge Dredd - but no disc in that one

Still, can't complain. Both these look like my sort of games.

Silent Bomber always makes me think of another PS1 game that I can't remember the name of. I had a demo of it from a magazine and it came out at about the same time (and probably had a similar title which is why I get them mixed up), but was a different kind of game. This one was a single screen thingy, mainly for 2 players, but was perfectly playable against a CPU. In this game from what I remember, you needed to activate checkpoints on a level before your opponent got to them. As you passed through one, it changed to your colour and the idea was to have all 4 or so as your colour. You could fight the other player and possible bomb them, but I don't remember much else. I did enjoy the demo quite a bit, but could never find the game in stores :(

It was alright the last time I played it (around about October)....as it's a shoot-em-up type game it doesn't age that much...I was playing it on the PS2 with the graphic-smoothing thing on though! :)
