I'm considering a shed for the garden too.

Tell me, how would I go about constructing one? Is it necessary to put down a layer of concrete or bricks as a solid foundation, or is it sufficient just to level off the ground first?

We levelled the ground off, took off the top layer of turf and created a paving slab / brick / concrete base to raise it slightly above the level of the lawn. Helps to prevent flooding and/or subsidence.

In that case, I don't own one. :(

Alternately, can I use commodes to build one? ;)

Err..no. Let it be. At least we had some constructive thoughts on sheds. ;)

And the forum needed the comic break. Things have been very very serious in the last few days. :)

I'd even go so far as to suggest that the TKrap threads be brought back to life. If nothing else they were worth a laugh. No, really. Oh, well...maybe not.

GOC: This is the miscellaneous forum. Why should anything Off-Topic be deleted in *here*?

Why? This is the Miscellaneous forum. To quote the decription:

"Anything that won't fit in any of the other forums, such as off-topic threads and maintenance notifications"

How does this thread not fit that description? I thought (apart from T_RenegadeFan and others who replied to the troll) that people here dealt with it admirably. If *everyone* had spoke about sheds, he would have been out of here much quicker.
