Just watched a film starring Liam Neeson called 'The big man' filmed in Scotland. It wasn't bad, it also had Billy Connolly in it. Parts were filmed fairly near where i used to live.

I think your getting mixed up with 'The debt collector' that also had Billy Connolly in it, that was actually quite a good film as well. It's supposed to be based on the life of Glasgow hardman Jimmy Boyle.

i thought 'the debt collector' was the one where scientists used DNA out of folisilized amber to create a new species of dinosaur which they put into a kind of theme park, but later the dinosaurs went a bit crazy and started attacking people?

Sorry to break up this "name the film" game... (I thought it was Metropolis :p)

Just watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time in ages. Still pretty funny. Especially with Charlie Sheen in the cop shop because he's on drugs

Amazingly this is the first time that Sioux's seen it :o

It was either that or Phenomena. I got the choice and decided on that so that she has finally seen it.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Am totally hooked on Netflix now ... today I've been watching "Graffiti Verite" (series) the system suggested it to me because I showed interest in Degas and Gaugin ... TV as a one-way medium is dead, Long Live Netflix!

(Overall I'm not one to agree with let's-see-what-the-person-looks-for-then-give-suggestions but in this case I am happy as I didn't know this series existed)

Does Netflix exist over in Yourope? If not, is there a similar service available?

Just watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Good film, but I can imagine enjoying it a lot more had I not read the book. It's frustratingly different in places, and it touches on the second book/film a bit too much for my liking. Definately not watching the second film until I've finished the third book...

I only did a few months ago after hearing all the (what I thought must be rubbish) stuff about Firefly being the greatest TV show ever cancelled for several years. It probably is though. Serenity is a fine ending for the fans.

If you're interested, a couple of the actors have gone on to do some excellent TV stuff. Nathan Fillion has done a few seasons of Castle which I rate very highly, and Jayne is in Chuck, which was brilliant for two seasons, but has lost it for the 3 and 4 (although that may be due to me watching nearly 80 episodes in a month!).
