That's a bargain all right. Whilst you're at it you can also pick up the Deus Ex collection for under ?4.

There's also the complete set of all four Hitman games going for ?9.18, but I reckon you could hold out for a price cut on that.

That is a bargain, they are very good games. The only things that spoils them, I think, is that you can fight (albeit not too well) with guards, and you can save anywhere, which removes a lot of the tension, unless you have the will power to deny saving between missions.

I really like the third one, although hardcore fans say it's the worst.

Don't get them if you don't like stealth though, these aren't really first person shooters, although you do fire arrows.

As a plus, there are lots of user made levels available for download, too.

The fourth one is tentatively due out this year, though it might well be set back to next year, but if it's like the first three then it will be worth the wait.

Meant to play Thief years ago, but then forgot about it, then a few years ago I remembered about it and meant to play it again, but forgot again. The ewgf recommended it to me a year or 2 ago, and I still forgot about it.

Now I'm not really that bothered anymore :D

I've got both the Fallout collection and the Baldur's Gate collection already. Baldur's gate collection works great under windows 7 but I can't get the Fallout games working. :(

Hope you have better luck getting it to work in win7 than I had with xp.
Some of my all-time favourite pc games and as mentioned, the mod scene is very large.

While I enjoyed thief 3, it just didn't have the same atmosphere for me as the other two- even if he cradle scared the bejazus out of me.

Oh, and something to bear in mind when playing thief 1 and 2 - the game is different when you play on higher difficulties. It's not just harder but you get different sub-missions and stuff so it's well worth playing again on hard setting.

Neverwinter Nights collection is cheaper! Thats a fair few hours of rpg-ing that ?3 buys you.

And it even runs natively on linux!
