Kudos to Gerald for his hard work..

Never liked City Slicker - thought it was waste of tape space on an old Amstrad Action covertape..

Never got the hang of Rana Rama...

Althought I'm going to have a bash at Cybernoid..

    Thanks to everyone involved!

Hewson was one of my favourite publishers, and I'm really glad they are in the archive.

A bunch of good games: Zynaps, Exolon, Pyracurse, Firelord...

Two interesting games are, IMHO, Impossaball and Southern Belle, both very original ones.

I think (maybe wrong) that some of them were available to download before? I definitely picked up Stormlord and Cybernoid 1 & 2 from somewhere.....I might have uploaded them myself from my collection, but I can't remember sticking them on my PC...

Hewson games have always been available here IIRC (I've downloaded most of them from here in the last years)...

I think it's only a formality or legal question, isn't it?

They were never denied, it's just that the legal owners weren't contacted yet due to lack of proper contact information (or maybe they just didn't respond). A lot of companies and individuals are still in that state, and their downloads are available in those cases.

Anyway, thanks Gerard for all the hard work he does sourcing and contacting those owners.

This is brilliant news, very very big thanks to everyone involved, as Hewson made some fantastic games.

Never liked City Slicker - thought it was waste of tape space on an old Amstrad Action covertape..

I really, really tried to like this game, as (a) it was a platform game (which I love), (b) it was set in England, which isn't too usual, and (c) it was very well programmed. But I just found it to be hard, dull, pointless and boring.

Never got the hang of Rana Rama...

No, nor me. Though I do mean to retry it at some point. Same with Quazatron, which is reputedly excellent.

Althought I'm going to have a bash at Cybernoid..

You should, it's fantastic. To me, Cybernoid is everything everyone said Exolon was (I never much liked Exolon but the rest of the planet loved it :-?).
