I said my piece, you say your's and then we can all be friends, :)

And there's also a time and place for saying your piece. An obituary thread isn't the place for these kind of rants. Can we add another member to the zero-tact community, please?

Anyway, I've never been a big fan of Dr Who, so I don't really remember her in that, but I did catch a few SJC's over the last few months. It's really quite good :-)

Is it? Isn't forums all about how we feel/think? Anyway, thanks for getting involved and talking about a way to run off elsewhere. This is about talking about (rep32x) stuff that most people wouldn't talk about.

Potential Westboro Baptist Church future member perhaps? You're absolutely right Vampyre, this is not the place to vent a negative opinion on someone or something.

    *sigh*

It really is time to find another venue, isn't it?

    Or even create one.

    Hmmm.

    *ponder*

Thats a bit OTT isnt it ? I'm on other forums and the odd time theres something i strongly disagree with or think is in bad taste, my boss might moan at me the odd day. I dont instantly think 'right thats it i'm off....'. We're all 30+ year olds here, its a forum , from time to time there will be things you dont agree with or think is in bad taste but you dont just up sticks and leave.

If thats the case you'll be moving forums every few weeks.

Fair point. I was upset at karingal's post and had planned to keep away from the forums as a result, but that was "in the heat of the moment". I should learn not to take anything posted too seriously.

But back on subject, I am not even a huge "Sarah Jane" fan (I love Doctor Who, but in terms of companions there are many more I prefer), but I was very sorry to hear that Elisabeth Sladen passed away, because she was someone I at least "knew" from her TV work (and saw her in person once, by chance, at a book signing).

I loved the Tom Baker era, did go off Dr Who after he left, just didnt like the other doctors but that was a magical era for me, as a kid i thought Tom Baker was so cool (floppy hat/scarf etc) so i did know her from that.

I'm not a Dr Who fan anymore but i admit its great the series has done so well, would have been terrible if the BBC resurrected an old classic and then it flopped.

Shame it wasn't also dedicated to Nicholas Courtney as well.

The Sarah Jane tribute was really good, and well done to CBBC for showing it.
