Must admit i dislike (gulp) Dr Who ! Annoyed thats on prime time on saturday nights, cant stand it. Gave it a chance when it came back and disliked it, not a fan one bit. People seem to analyse every single detail of every episode which seems OTT.
Has anybody noticed I hate Doctor Who as well?

You've got a point. I'm taking "Cat Lovers" and Folk that take Kareoke serious" off my list. Talking about anything else on my list usually involves a big rant and ends in me shouting and people thinking I'm mad.

But Giraffes? F***ing bandy-legged b******...no, no, I'm not getting started.

I mean what the **** is their camouflage all about no no no I'm not starting....

When was the last time you saw a Giraffe other than at the zoo?...the camo seems to work great.

As there are no giraffes here to defend themselves, can I suggest you lay off them otherwise the thread will be locked.

How do you know the forum isn't chockfull of giraffes? I mean they are master of disguises just as guesser has pointed out.

Fogartylee ... you're a giraffe, right? I'm calling you out!!!

Come to think of it, your avatar looks exactly like a giraffe!
MARTIJN, do something about the giraffes, they're taking over!

In fact - some funny **** in work replaced my piccy on our Wiki(ha ha - "piccy on our Wiki") with that of a Giraffe.
I left it there though - it's kinda funny and if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at?(that's a rhetorical question)

Actually, I've just been playing Minter's Space Giraffe on xbox live...

Really difficult at first, seems crap, and then the awesomeness hits you...

    Well recommended.

I hate long threads... unless it's a heated discussion done in a civilized way. Some are deserving of some popcorn and some time set aside.

    Hate the current tatoo trend
    Autotune
    Bling
People who sing through their nose and are currently popular worldwide
    Reality TV
Customers that want the "corporate phone number" to complain about anything they dislike. Examples include customers who get upset because they order a cheeseburger without cheese and they're given a burger, customers who who go to a retail store to return a product after the allowed return/exchange time period but want the managers to "offer great customer service and make an exception". Customers who buy something, use it and then return it... Retail...
People who force everyone to listen to their music
People who choose the wrong lane before turning and then want to switch to the correct lane when they shouldn't...
People who like to take their loud music anywhere they go...
People walking around with sandals AND socks...
People who stare when you're about to eat something...
People who are only nice to you when they need something...

Can't think of anything else right now.

what about people with ankle socks in their trainers / sneakers then ? I'd rather not put my bare feet in my trainers :)

*SOME* reality tv shows are interesting .e.g. showing someone doing a job etc.. not vacuous fools who want a career out of it.. so don't be so quick to dismiss them all .. as some are factual.

auto tune is ok to a point.. but in moderation.. and not to fit a square peg into a round hole e.g. exceptional bad or none singers.. it's partly that and more so putting a limit on a frequency range a vocal part is in.. it's like heat shrink for vocals :/ it's a money saving tactic , why hire someone to sing :)

I bought a car battery , and due to the companies mis-selling of it I'm lumbered with it even though they specified it was specifically for my car.. I have heard others had the same.. so YES I do have a right to be f'd off with companies (and folk on ebay) who BS for Britain.

I like food reality TV, Hells Kitchen is perfectly acceptable as a reality TV show to me as the people usually already have a career in food and are usually trying to better themselves or advance in their field by gaining a higher paying chef position in a Michelin star establishment.

That type of thing is OK with me, as it's not like they're trying to break into the lucrative business of being a media whore the highlight of which is possibly a short career in panto, and maybe an internet sex tape when it all goes tits up.

Same with Masterchef, regular people who have a liking of the foodz trying to get into the food industry or actually do something they want to do instead of what they're doing. Granted some of them can be fame seeking pretentious chisellers, but I've seen people on shows like this who are high paid interior designers, and lawyers willing to turn their backs on their careers for food! Which to me is slightly insane, but makes for OK viewing. Plus it's quite inspiring watching somebody who's had the roughest of lives succeed at something they couldn't do if it wasn't for the show.

I bet everyone who likes Masterchef was routing for Christine Ha last year, the blind girl who won it, I wanted her to win the second she walked through the door, and she did in the end.

Big Brother can f**k off though it's sh*t!

    ha, nice analogy!
I don't mind the odd bit of autotune, was listening to a mashup I did of Bloc Party's "Flux" the other day and I only noticed it had autotune on it halfway through.

Generic 4-chord R'n'B/pop pap (autotuned or not) really gets my goat though, the songs where you can predict the entire song from the first chord. Stock Aitken and bloody Waterman were less musically conservative.

As for X-Factor, Big Brother etc... anyone who talks about that at work gets a mouthful of abuse from me.

I do like Strictly though, having been in a relationship for 16 years it's the only legitimate chance I get to watch attractive young ladies wearing not many clothes. Kara Tointon and Rachel Stevens certainly put the "come" in Strictly Come Da%?&*#@?$[NO CARRIER]

The one good use for autotune is with singers who are getting on a bit and can't quite reach the high notes they used to sing.

It's a complete waste of time on people who could never sing in the first place though.
  • Pop music in shops

    Pop music in general

People who can't park straight and it's usually the people in the smallest cars who are the worst for this

    Golf

Entertained News - I hate it when a film's interrupted while some numpty tells us what time Beyonce had a ****.

Manchester United - This may be due to all the Manchester United fans living in London.

I did a remix of Bloc Partys Better Than Heaven once. Best remix I ever made, in my opinion. Can't upload it anywhere though, keeps getting flagged for copyright blah blah. It seems to be ok for everyone else to upload the original though, which is really annoying. I don't make any money from anything I do, it's just a hobby, and I don't host remixes anywhere for download (only my own stuff). I understand that people can download videos from Facebook and YouTube etc., but when the original is already posted all over those sites by other people (i.e. not just their official band pages), I fail to see why they won't allow my remix to be uploaded too? Really, really annoying! :x
