Trap Door - minor glitches
Both the TAP and ZX Megafiles versions have some minor glitches that weren't in the other releases that I've played. They're not game-breaking, but I'd just thought I'd point them out anyway.
First off is Boni's head. When you pick him up for a hint and then place him down, his positioning is lower than it should be.

Lastly, the floor detail in the room where the weight is is missing!

Like I said. Nothing game-breaking, but worth pointing out.

I think you'll find that the problems are actually game breaking, if you read what I posted about them. You can't place the tray on the stove to cook the eggs so you can't actually complete the 'boiled eggs' task (and therefore the game). Use the tzx file instead :)
In the meantime, the TAP version should be labelled as corrupted/broken.
I do use the TZX version for playing on emulator, but I've been trying to get this game onto +3 disk and have difficulty in understanding the loader code for the game (loading stripes are cyan and black, and Berk's eyes move). Now I've done similar tape-drive transfers before, but this has really left me stumped! Normally with machine-code based loaders you look for IX, DE and JP instructions, but I can't seem to find any of those in this code. Perhaps someone with more experience with machine code than I can examine it?
Same loader though.
I could upload the alternative software one if need be
Here's where I found out about the new TAP: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/showthread.php?t=34826
I think the Alternative Software re-release uses the same loader as well if I'm correct.
