Pontypool

I don't know if there are any fans of the film Pontypool in here, but in case there are -

I just found out when they made the film, based on the book 'Pontypool Changes Everything' they also made a radio drama.

If this is news to you, you can hear it on the BBC world service here -

  • That's the Canadian film where the virus travels through language, right?

I watched that on the Horror Channel a few months back. Not a bad film, but I seem to remember the first half is best and then it tails off a bit. I'll check out the link. I used to live in South Wales and when I heard about this I thought it would be like Twin Town at first :-P

Wasn't it on Film 4 a few months ago? That's where I recorded it from. Not had a chance to watch it yet, but I'd heard it was pretty good.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

Its different. I enjoyed it... but I do think it has been overhyped by horror fanatics.

    Yep a decent film.
Something different and it is left up to your imagination (mostly) when things start to turn bad.
