I thought at first "Oh no, another sell out", but if the profits go to the armed force's charities then it can only be a good thing.

Incidentally, anyone here read his books? They are great, especially the Nick Stone books - my favourite thriller series. McNab's books are often compared to Chris Ryan's (also an ex-SAS soldier), but McNab's are much better, I think. I've not yet read the latest Stone book as my backlog of books (and games) is large, but I'm looking forward to it, so please, no spoilers in this thread. His non-fiction books are very good too, but aside from the non-fiction and (all but the latest) Stone books, I don't think I've read any more of his work.

Any book that doesn't have pictures in is "crap" as far as Mile is concerned. ;)

All the better if it's a pop-up book, preferably with less than eight pages and no more than four words per page :p

    I know him so well.

While the subject has moved onto books authored by past military folk, I would recommend No Mean Soldier by Peter McAleese as the best military related book I have read. His exploits in the Rhodesian SAS and South African Defense Force were amazing.
