As to wether or not he has the police involved, I shall determine on monday when I phone them. However, he has mailed me since threatening legal action, and has thoughtfully retrieved my address and phone number from the electoral register.
What he hopes to achieve with this information is a matter for the police, as I will be making a formal complaint against him for intimidating behaviour on monday. I couldn't care less that he has my address - only an idiot would try and use it now. He started the intimidation before he tried that one :)
I suspect that things will be back to normal very, very quickly.

I've decided, since he has declined to confirm that he has lodged a complaint against me, to go directly to the West Yorskshire Police's central Leeds office.
They tell me that there may be grounds for Defamation of Character should he take any action against me for anything I have not done - and I have his emails to prove that he has threatened to do so. They have advised me to talk to a solicitor if there is any further abuse from him.
And oh my, I intend to do so if I hear from him again!
I've also moaned to his ISP and received a few emails back from them. I think they've suspended his account or something as nothings coming up at the moment.
I dont mind rom cd's etc, what i really do hate is spamming emails and stuff like that. Might not have been too bad but posting various cheesey 'i wanted speccy games, so i found this great site...' etc is just a bit too obvious and annoying !
We have had legal advice on this issue, and it was confirmed that our CD is
Legal. We were advised to list a disclaimer on the site to this effect which
we have since done. We are confident that this satisfies the conditions
regarding this software. Our CD is somewhat similar to that offered by a
similar site www.zxspectrum.co.uk which also offers legal software and is
listed in the software section of the World of spectrum web site.

Further to your listing of personal details on the forum, I advise you that
listing personal details contravenes the Data protection act, and if you
intend to re-list our details, action will be taken direct to prosecute both
yourself and the webmasters of this site in question.
