im on IE6 at work. of course its not my choice to change it, its the IT departments decision. the idiots. :p
We were in that boat a while ago too(for a large chunk of users) - and it was all because of a central piece of very complicated bespoke software. It just didn't work properly in IE browsers after IE6.
It does now but it was a complicated and costly upgrade project. We still have another issue with Java versions and certain functionality only working with specific(and old) versions of Java. In a busy, changing environment things like this are never an issue until a conflicting piece of new software comes along and forces changes.......
