Gmail Call phone
Using a dongle, I just noticed this on Gmail tonight.
Call another UK landline, or India, for 2p a minute.
Mobiles 10p a minute.
Well I put 10 quid on (12 quid with VAT) and it works fine.
If I can get rid of my landline I can afford an iPhone.
Mind boggling.
(Yes I've heard of Skype)

I think you may have a money-saving tip in there somewhere, but as it stands I don't understand anything you've said.

The only significance of using a "dongle" (3G USB modem) is that you don't need a landline or mobile phone to call a landline or mobile anywhere in the world. Even Ascension Island (at over ?1 a minute). Most charges are in the 1p, 2p range.
The best thing for Gmail users to do is try it.
Can't be a bad thing :)
