How do I go about getting stuff off my Sky box?

Got Micro Men and a few other things recorded and on "keep" and I don't want to lose them when I move house...

Suggestions please...

    capture card.. usb thing.. your sky box should have a video out to do it. then bounce to whatever format you want.

    dvd recorder (a friend does that)

    I also have micro men sitting on my sisters pvr.. I would buy it if the BBC released it as a proper box :) maybe I should enquire about it

    I don't have a DVD recorder or PVR thingymebob, so I'll have to look further at it.

    I heard of being able to use an XBox 360 somehow to do this...anyone shed any light?

    (it would be a wonderful opportunity for me to buy an XBox 360...)

    a few here own a 360's could tell you , but well it's just a console?!?!.. I'd rather not buy a rubbish build quality console (that trash the games) or get my personal details hacks.. so I'm glad I didn't buy a console this generation.

    the USB capture thing is probably the cheapest option.. don't own sky either.
