It's probably Michael Jackson himself that started that auction. He asked one of his corporate underlings to scour the net for anything that bore his name and, having no concept of the value of money (he has so bloody much of it), thought that was a reasonable price. :)
Of course I can't stand Michael Jackson; I get physically sick just by looking at him. So I wouldn't even pay a ha'penny for it.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

I got about four of them!!!! i could make a grand! Quick, to the ebay mobile!!
Well I think nearly all of us can retire early if these outlandish auctions are anything to go by. In the meantime, I would advise you to hire a 24 - 7 security firm to guard your collection, complete with loops of razor wire outside your house. ;)
Tsk, these traders just amaze me. Why can't they just do even the smallest of market research into what they are trying to sell. "Ooh, let's see... there isn't another copy of this for sale at the moment for the Spectrum, so it must be ultra rare and hence worth ?250!". Well, there isn't another copy of my slightly torn March 1991 issue of Sinclair User for sale at the moment either...

Are you sure you wanted to say that in public? :p
I've got one copy of it somewhere, but I think it's got some high scores written in the box. I wonder if that makes it even rarer than the on on eBay?

"I'm selling it as a piece of Michael Jackson memorabelia, not just a Spectrum game. But thanks for the vote of confidence. Really mature of you to take the time to write to me and say it'll never sell."
I've just rechecked this auction, and the Starting Bid has mysteriously dropped from ?250 to ?199, and the Buy [This Sh]it Now price from ?350 to ?220! :)
So it looks as though the seller has begun to see sense; I think that when the prices have dropped to "75p" and "75p and a packet of Rolos" respectively, we'll know he's finally seen sense. :p:D
I never make misteaksmistrakesmisyaleserrurs — oh, sod it.

Why list it under PC & Video Gaming > Vintage Gaming > Sinclair > Games then? Surely Music > Music Memorabilia > Artists/ Groups > Perverted Freaks would get a better response? Maybe it's just me.
seller does it to get hits on item, and other items being sold, then day auction ends, adjusts price to ?0.99 to get a refund on listing fees, or cancels auction and hopes some newb will make an offer of ?20 or so, as they really believe it is a hard to come by game.

Is he sure about that? That must make my Batman and Chase HQ games absolutely bloody priceless.
Has anyone contacted him yet asking him which joker told him this game was worth ?350???
:)

- The box has a dent
- The poster is missing
...but it's still in MINT CONDITION
What a twat.
